Since 1999, the River Forest Education Foundation has raised and granted over $2,500,000 in tuition assistance to River Forest Country Club team members (and their children) attending colleges and trade schools.

About River Forest and the Education Foundation
In 1999, three RFCC caddies unexpectedly lost their father. Several members spearheaded an effort to raise money for these siblings’ educational expenses. RFCC members responded generously and the seeds of the River Forest Education Foundation were planted.
River Forest County Club was the first CDGA club to establish such a foundation. Since 1999, the River Forest Education Foundation (RFEF) has awarded over 2500 scholarships totaling 2.7 million dollars to RFCC team members and their children, enabling them to seek further education in colleges and trade schools.
RFCC’s annual Classic Gala is a celebration of our premier member-member golf tournament and the River Forest Education Foundation’s most significant fundraiser. We are proud of our RFEF Scholars and the spirit of family and generosity that fuels the River Forest Education Foundation.
